I call this one Adore. I think this picture captures so entirely essense of adoration. Of fans towards the bands. Of fans towards superstars, whether on stage or on screen.

I love how the fans can't be seen, only their hands stretch out as if to reach something that they can never grasps. (it's odd, but when you're at a show, you have a tendency to reach out to the band on stage, as if they would hold out their hands to you in return... Which they don't really, cause sometimes there's a 5 feet gap between the pit and the stage!)

I absolutely love the symbolism of the chasm between the hands and the bands that is incredibly poignant in this picture. Like the fans are forever holding their hands out to grasps nothingness...
I like how the hands occupy only a small corner of the picture as if making the obsessiveness their adoration so small and trite in the face of such chasm and void.

As much as they try, as we try to reach towards these etheral beings, a chasm remains, and a seperation between the fans and those in the spotlight on stage. That's the seperation. And that, is Adoration.

I like this one because i feel that the worship of these being that strolls on stages and red carpets is way more pronouced here. The hands that reaches out wanting so badly to grasps that which their heart desires.

Whatever it is, speaking from the experience as a fan, and believe me, i am a fan in all the sense of the word, not just a fan of Ash or whatever, but you know how i get obsessed with bands, with superstars.... So, speaking from that depth of obsessions, i think these two pictures combined, absolutely captures the essense of the definition of ADORATION... of fans.

Neways, i found alot of cool pics of Ash... YES usually just Tim and Charlotte, on stage, and also individual pics of Tim and Charlotte that were really cool. Maybe I'll post them on later. And also, more on Ash later. :)
