WELL, I'VE REDESIGNED...

Sorta........................

I still don't understand xml, so i'm not sure how to customize things. But anyway, I really, really, really like this Lunkhead picture... so, it's not gonna go away....

But i wanted to redesign the blog for awhile now because in the old layout, there was no way to access old posts except through the archives. And even that, there's no way to scroll to the back pages... Kinda pain in the ass... So I've changed that.

Hope it's better now.

Disclaimer:
1) Layout TOTALLY messes up on Firefox and Macs...
2) Urm.... the background and all is fix to 1024 x 650.... So, it'll be too large or small on any other size windows.... Basically, i only know how to design for it to look nice on my OWN comp hahahah!
3) SONG playing is Hutari by LUNKHEAD!!! (button is on the left to turn it off)
4) Blog title, i decided to take it from a quote by Yoshitaro during the Ebisu live on 9/12 when he said, "Owari janakutte, hajimari". Meaning, "it's not the end, it's the begining."... I thought to put this quote up since it's a Lunkhead layout, and alot of things are progressing for the band this year coming very soon. So i thought it's very appropriate for them!

Yay~! I realized, although I've liked Lunkhead for 1 1/2 years, I've never had a Lunkhead layout. So, here's a lunkhead layout!! With a widget counting down to the Best Album release on MARCH 5th!! yay~~~~!!! The picture is the cover of the album! yay!

Next layout i wanna put a playlist widget, calender widget and other widgets!!!... It's been a headache modifying this layout... ARGGGGG!! Blogger changed their layout but I didn't upgrade.... Also, i don't understand xml language, so i totally can't deal with other harder stuff!!!


Anyway, i was pre-editing the layout on another blog and it had these questionaires in it, so i went to look for a questionaire... So here it is:

iro iro... Usually about life or like Lunkhead and yoshitaro... and I talk to God...

The night is a night is a night... No diff if it's raining or not..

3 Hours ago... for lunch with my bro.. Bak Kut Teh... at Centerpoint... We had a lenghty discussion on the life of Kurt Cobain, the impact of Nirvana, and the changing roles and landscape of music and its representation.

hm. usually i'm really amazed and i think of Tsuki to Tenohira... haha. But yeah, usually I'm quite amazed.

5. Would you rather swim in the lake or dive in the ocean?
Maybe dive... I don't like lakes in general because of scary monsters.

6. What would be the best partner of a good cup of coffee?
Nice cake... Japanese made... Because theirs aren't too sweet.

7. If you'll ask yourself question now, what would it be?
Why the hell am i wasting my time doing this instead of revising for the Japanese placement test???

These questions are phrased really weird, the grammar doesn't make sense...
Anyway back to the question, I'd cry and MOST LIKEY BITCHHHHHHHH like hell about it... Then feel depressed, then cry, then maybe ask God why.... maybe i'd blame God... then after i bitch more and think i'm gonna die, I'll feel better, then I'll listen to Lunkhead, then I'll try to look for a better way or something vague to hope in..

HA. There are no seasons in malaysia so it's hard to say... Maybe Feb, since there are alot of holidays and the month is short haha... And the December too, since it's always a very nostalgic time of the year and celebrative too...

Yayyyy finally..... NEW LAYOUT!! After ONE YEAR!!!!

So this layout is... Mizuiro Girlfriend... Sort of... I was listening to Mizuiro Girlfriend by Plastic Tree and I really like that song... Apparently that is the first Ryutaro "happy" love song... and I think it's a very sweet song cause the ending goes... "kimi no egao ga neji wo watatte todoku"... and that means "your smile goes across a rainbow and reaches me..".... Don't you think that's just such a sweet line??? So un-Ryutaro usual lyrics! But it's so hopeful and sweet!!! ^^

so i've temporarily changed the design to Hellogoodbye... cause i've been listening to them alot lately.

Anyway, hellogoodbye is a very very fun band. I like how they don't take themselves seriously but take what they do seriously.... or do they???

Forrest (the lead singer) has a way of making what he sings, the lyrics and all that, really.... juvenile, very.... erm... innocent. It's amazing. They're just a very fun band to listen to, and to dance to... very. There's really no feeling of anything but fun attached to their songs, and i like them for that.

Anyway... I've also been thinking of Tim of Days Away.

Tim has really been nice to me, you know, ever since day one. I still remember the first time I formally talked to him (i knew Tim back in April when i first met Days Away but i didn't know that it was Tim!). Anyway it was at Palladium and he was drunk. ha. Anyways, he asked if i always go for their shows. Since it was only my third DA show i told him "no". Then keith who was signing at the merch table said "Yeah, she goes all over for our shows, she came to Baltimore the other day." Anyways then Tim says, "Yeah i always see you rocking out at the front."... heh.

Well anyway.... I miss the whole band alot... Not met them for more than 8 months... since i never got to talk to them at the OTHER palladium show back in November last year... due to a shit thing on MY part. fuckk ok forget regrets think Hellogoodbye!

Anyways, yeah, Tim has always treated me nice. He was the one who told me to go down to Florida and he'll celebrate my 21st bday with me. Also like, Tim As drunk as he was, was always willing to take care of me, or at least, he watched out for me. He also gave me his phone number when Keith and Chris were not willing. And Tim always knew i liked Keith and always helped me out wuahahahaha. Damn Days Away are such cool dudes!!! And then when i got rejected by Paul and i called Tim (hehe), Tim told me to forget the dude and was being all so supportive... "do u want me to go kick his ass??" and he, knowing i liked Keith, asked if i wanna talk to keith (although it was a good method to get off the phone!!). And then when i gave him the keychain i got for him from Malaysia (i got everyone in the band a keychain), he gave me a big hug and then went to the van immiediately and pulled out the van keys so he could put the keychain on it ^^... ouh man i love Tim...

And then most of all, at the show at Troubadour when everyone was leaving. And i was really heh, sad with Keith cause well, he was like asking Candy to email him and all that (well of course since they do know each other wayyyyyyyyy longer). And i felt like really sad cause Keith is nice but u know, sometimes cold with me... Then as keith was walking to the van and we (Michelle, Candy and I) were walking away, suddenly i hear a loud scream "BYE ELAINE!!!!" And when i turned back it was Tim sticking his head out of the van waving bye to ME!!!

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww... that was so sweet.. In a way! hehehe... no??? i mean no one else waved bye but he said bye... Damn!! I'm gonna miss Tim alot. I'm gonna miss the whole band alot.

the dude at the side... is none other than the brilliant brain child of the wonderful band called Asian Kung Fu Generation.... he doesn't look like much does he.... hmm... i guess not your knight in shining armor unless u like nerds but hellz! give me someone like him any day of the week and twice on sunday, i'm already in love!

Ouh and to celebrate!!!! Rashinban... my asian kung fu no ichiban no uta (song) has emerged.... number one indeed!!! on my 25 most played songs playlist!!!! I am so happy!!! for awhile there it lagged behind other songs.... cause i was a little burnt out by it... but damn this song (and Understand) reminds me alot about the happiness and energy of being there in the Asian Kung Fu Generation concert that playing it just makes me really happy... like reliving the memory, you know!!!!
So anyways.... yeap... that's why the title is also called UNDERSTAND!!!

alright... sorry for the lack of updates....

so well... i wrote a whole long blog and it got wiped out.... so i guess it's not meant to be.... lemme summarize then........

1) New Layout
Well.... to reflect my mood... i guess... The picture is from the Sayonara scene from the anime Rurouni Kenshin or Samurai X. It's the part where STUUUUUPID Kenshin leaves Kaoru and hugs her and tell her that "thank you for giving me a life i was looking for..... Sayonara... I must return to wandering again" and fucking ABANDONS her there crying....
I never like Kenshin anime version but for this ONE SCENE, i actually rate it higher than the manga version. I didn't think this scene was as powerful and poignant in the manga as it was in the anime... and they did a really nice touch with the fireflies and the coloring in the anime.... Also, they actually animated Kaoru's tears VERY well in this scene as you see the droplets of her tears falls as Kenshin embraces her, and then when she falls to her knees as he walks away with his back turned to her and she tries to grab out but she's immobilized and all she is capable of doing is kneel down and cry............. awesome scene............ makes me wanna shoot Kenshin.

But anyways... yeah.... i thought this was a really nice pic... then i was color adjusting it and i got the version that i have on the blog now and i think it's cool cause you still see the outline of her face and especially her tear...

But i feel this way these days cause i dunno..... i feel like crying.... almost every day.... and i'm really sad most of the days when i am in my new room alone, and you know.... nothing in my life is growing.... i just feel so stagnated and i feel like crying but that's all i can do you know.... cry alone in my room but there's no one to listen.... and there's no one to save me from my tears....

So yeah.... that's why this pic too i guess... and just happened that this pic really reflects how i feel lately.... and it's a cool pic too... don't you think?

One year ago, everytime I looked at newstands, i really longed and hope that Finch would be tabbed on Guitar magazine and last month, they were!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And now! i wanted Finch to be nominated in some kind of awards and now they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am soooooooooooo happy for them!!!!!!!!!

I don't know- are we gonna lose Finch now?

Screw it- you can't lose what you never had! They're already playing sold out shows- so what! I want more- I want them to play bigger venues and more sold out shows. Who cares if the most pit in Palladium sucks, who cares of seatings of Universal Amphitheater sucks?? Who cares! I want them THERE! I guess... I just want them to be happy you know..

I don't know... such dichotomy of feelings....
